Nutrition is vital for our health and wellbeing and more so when we aren't well. 

  On 30th October 2016 we asked diatrist expert Jen from 'Nutrition 4 Living' to present a Healthy Eating talk headed, 

ARE YOU SATISFIED AFTERWARDS.

Two of the receipes we learnt is below;

GREEN JUICE

1 apples/ 1 slice of pineapple
½ juice lemon(peeled),
 ½ cup kale / spinach,
1 stick of celery,
1 inch of ginger
1tsp spirulina
1tbsp flaxseeds
1tsp turmeric
Method; Add all ingredients to the nutri-bullet and mix.

EGG MUFFINS

  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ½ cup diced red pepper
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • ½ chopped tomato
  • Optional: Left-over cooked ham/turkey

Method

1.     Preheat oven to 175 degrees C. Grease muffin cups or line with paper liners.

2.   Beat eggs together in a large bowl. Mix tomato, bell pepper, onion and water into the beaten eggs. Pour egg mixture evenly into prepared muffin cups.

3.   Bake in the preheated oven until muffins are set in the middle, 18 to 20 minutes.
